Happy Birthday Baby

Every year I say the same thing, and every year it’s true. I can’t believe my baby is turning ____ today. This year he’s 15. FIFTEEN. He starts driver training this month, he’s finishing off ninth grade, he has a “girlfriend.”

It seems like yesterday, when I was fifteen. Obviously it wasn’t.

I’m proud of him and I genuinely like who he has become. He’s got an off-the-wall sense of humor and an empathy that runs deep. He’s a great kid.
