30 Days of Thanks – Day 2, 3 and 4

30_days_thanksMy first post was actually Day 4 so I want to catch up and get to Day 5 after I sleep. Day 5 is going to be a doozy – but I’ll find something to be grateful for.

Day 2

I met and had a wonderful conversation with a couple of people I had initially connected with through a Motor City Connect breakfast in Commerce.

So on Day 2 I am thankful for Motor City Connect. I hadn’t lived in Michigan very long and knew three families (neighbors) before I joined MCC. I can trace almost everyone I know locally, through that networking organization. I am eternally grateful because it wasn’t until I met the many wonderful members, that I truly felt at home in Michigan.

Day 3

I am grateful to my clients. I have real estate clients and I have virtual assistant clients. I realize they can choose to work with whomever they want. I am thankful they chose me. I realize this is an honor and I work every day to fulfill my obligations to the best of my ability while constantly striving to improve.

Day 4

I am thankful for my hair stylist Nate. REALLY thankful! For the first two years I kept having to drive back to Columbus, Ohio to get my old stylist (Laney from Kenneth’s in Powell) to fix what had been cut here. Until Nate. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. (And thank you to Dave Webber for hooking me up). If you are searching for that elusively awesome stylist, ask for Nate at Salon Agape in Novi.
